Cestrum nocturnum - night jasmine (15 cm pot)

Upright evergreen shrub with branched foliage up to 3 m tall. Lanceolate or elliptical leaves of intense green color. In late spring and until the end of summer it produces apical inflorescences made up of numerous small white flowers, very fragrant especially at night. The fruits are small black berries when ripe.

Pedoclimatic needs

It should be grown in rich and soft soils, preferring those of medium texture with good organic substance content. It prefers sunny exposures, but also tolerates partial shade. Non-rustic species, it fears intense and prolonged cold, resisting up to 0/-2°C for short periods. Species that cannot tolerate drought and must be watered regularly during the dry season. Easy to grow, it does not require much care. It can be grown outdoors in the southern citrus climate. It is also suitable for cultivation in pots.
