Abies nordmanniana - Caucasian fir (Forest alveolus)

Genus of 50 species of evergreen conifers from Europe, northern Africa, Asia and North America. Abies nordmanniana is an evergreen conifer that can reach 60 m in height. It has a straight stem and a conical-pyramidal crown formed by dense and regularly arranged stages in a spiral pattern. The leaves are needle-like and flat, between 13 and 30 mm long with a bright green upper page and a light green lower page with two parallel white bands.
