Abromeitiella genus, native to South America. The abromeitiella brevifolia has small 3-4 cm rigid leaves with a spiny margin, arranged in rosettes that have a diameter of 3 to 5 cm. Pedoclimatic needs
It can be grown in all types of soil as long as it is well drained and not calcareous. It prefers sunny exposures. It has poor resistance to cold and temperatures must not fall below 0° c. In mild climate areas it can be grown outdoors in flowerbeds or rock gardens, while in colder areas, if kept dry in the winter months, it can withstand temperatures of up to -2°C for short periods.
