Acacias are widespread in the tropical and warm temperate regions of Central and South America, Kenya, southern Africa, Polynesia and Australia. The Acacia dealbata is an evergreen tree, 10-15 m tall but with a wide habit, with glaucous fern-like leaves, tormenting bipinnate up to 12 cm long, each with 40-80 linear leaflets. From winter to spring it produces inflorescences made up of spherical flower heads, very fragrant and golden yellow in colour.
