Cayenne long silm is a very spicy and fragrant chili pepper of South American origin (up to 15,000-18,000 Shu degrees). It produces fruits, red when ripe, very slender and generally 12-15 cm long, aromatic, particularly appreciated for fresh consumption. The erect plant can reach 60-80 cm in height and is very productive. The leaves are ovate or lanceolate and green in color.

Pedoclimatic requirements

Prefers fertile and well-drained soils with good limestone content. Prefers full sun exposure. Very productive variety, if well grown can have dozens of fruits on each plant. If sheltered during the winter and temperatures do not fall below +6°/+8°c, the plants can live for several years.
