Piquin is a very spicy and fragrant chili pepper. Its fruits are small, oval, coral red when ripe, about 0.8/1.5 cm long. The plant appears as a compact, very branched bush that can reach 70-90 cm in height and 40-50 m in width. The leaves are small ovate or lanceolate, green in color. Highly spicy chili pepper reaches 100,000-250,000 degrees on the Scoville scale (Shu).
Pedoclimatic needs
It adapts to any type of soil, preferring fertile and well-drained ones. Prefers full sun exposure. Very productive variety, if well cultivated it can have hundreds of fruits on each plant. If sheltered during the winter and temperatures do not drop below +6°/+8°c, the plants can live for a few years.Sowing
