Coffea arabica - coffee (1 pack)

Shrub or small evergreen tree whose height can reach 7-8 metres, but if kept in a pot it normally does not exceed 1 metre. The leaves are oval, shiny, dark green and pointed at the tip. The flowers are white, very pleasant. The fruit is a rounded red drupe containing two seeds, which are roasted and used to prepare the coffee drink.

Pedoclimatic needs

It adapts to any type of soil, as long as it is well drained. It prefers bright exposure or partial shade, but protected from direct sunlight. Non-rustic plant, to ensure luxuriant growth temperatures should not fall below 15°/20°c.

Sowing

All year round in the greenhouse. In spring outdoors in a sheltered place.
