Genus composed of more than 150 species of small evergreen succulents with fleshy leaves native to southern Africa. Delosperma lehmannii is a small evergreen succulent 10-15 cm tall with short, blue-green leaves, arranged symmetrically on drooping stems. The flowers appear at the apex of the branches and are light yellow in color and resemble small daisies in shape. The fruits are capsules which open when they are wet by rain to facilitate the dispersion of the very small seeds.

Pedoclimatic needs

Grow in poor, well-drained soil, in full sun. Not very rustic species, it can be raised outdoors only where temperatures do not fall below +2/0°C. This graceful small succulent is particularly suitable for growing in pots on terraces and balconies.
