Genus of at least 250 species of evergreen trees and shrubs, mostly native to Australia, and a few species from Indonesia, New Guinea and New Caledonia. Grevillea robusta is an evergreen tree that can reach 15-20 meters in height. It has a slightly branched trunk, oval crown and glaucous green bipinnate leaves. Between the end of spring and the beginning of summer it produces an abundant and suggestive yellow-orange flowering. The flowers are gathered in inflorescences and form characteristic curved tubules.
