    Altezza della pianta: 10-15cm cm
    Genus of about 80 species of evergreen shrubs and trees, present in rainforests and semi-arid areas, mainly in Australia. Leptospermum scoparium is a slender, slender evergreen shrub with erect, dark brown stems and small, needle-like green leaves. The flowering period starts from May and continues throughout the summer. The small flowers have five petals and are white, pink or red depending on the variety. The "red damask" cultivar has red flowers. The plant can reach two meters in height and is particularly suitable for being grown in groups. Honey plant that appears to produce honey with antibacterial and disinfectant properties.

    Pedoclimatic needs

    It adapts to any type of soil, preferring fertile, well-drained, light soil that maintains humidity. Very drought resistant it can be planted and used for gardens without water. It cannot tolerate intense and prolonged frosts, adult individuals can tolerate a maximum of -2°C/ -4°C for short periods.
