Mangifera indica cv "kensington pride" GRAFTED - mango (Pot 18 cm)

The Mango is a splendid evergreen tropical tree which in optimal conditions reaches 30-35 m in height with very expansive foliage. The trunk and branches have smooth, light brown bark. The leaves are alternate, simple, 15-30 centimeters long. In spring it produces abundant flowering followed by fruits, generally roundish, but of variable shape and color depending on the variety. The mango pulp is fibrous, juicy, fragrant and very sugary. The “kensington pride” cultivar has medium-sized fruits with pinkish yellow skin and yellow-orange pulp.

Pedoclimatic needs

It must be planted, deep, well drained with low limestone content. Grow in full sun exposure. Non-rustic tropical tree. In Italy it can only be bred in the citrus climate where temperatures do not fall below 0°C. It requires large spaces to allow the foliage to develop freely.
