Tobacco is an annual herbaceous plant up to 2/2.5 m tall. The leaves are alternate large and expanded. The flowers gathered in apical inflorescences are creamy white or flecked with lilac.

Pedoclimatic needs

It adapts to medium-textured, fertile and well-drained soils. Prefers full sun exposure. To grow this plant you need to plant the seeds in a seedbed as they are very small. When the plants reach a height of 30-45 cm they are transplanted. After three months it is possible to collect the leaves that have reached the right maturation. To germinate and flower it needs temperatures around 20°/25°c.
