Pennisetum setaceum - Pennisetum elongata - Seeds 0.1gr

Perennial herbaceous up to 60-80 cm tall which when mature forms small tufts 30-50 cm wide. Light green linear leaves, up to 50-60 cm long. At the end of summer it produces numerous silvery white feathery inflorescences, very decorative, especially when they sway in the breeze.

Pedoclimatic needs

This grass is not very demanding and grows more on well-worked and rich soil which will give it more abundant flowering; However, it adapts to any type of soil, even poor and stony, as long as it is free from vegetation. It loves positions in full sun and is partially rustic, withstanding not too intense and prolonged frosts down to -4°/-6°c. Ideal for low maintenance gardens, embellishing embankments, flowerbeds and rockeries.
