Senecio scaposus - Woolly senecio (Square vase 7x7x10 cm)

Small evergreen succulent with a bushy habit. The beautiful foliage has a characteristic silvery-white color given by a thick waxy cuticle. The leaves are cylindrical, pointed and gathered in rosettes. The older leaves occasionally "undress" their silvery cuticle, to show the green underneath. Flowering, which occurs in late summer, is characterized by small yellow flowers similar to daisies. It can reach 15-20 cm in height.

Pedoclimatic needs

It adapts to any type of soil, preferring loose, light and well-drained soil. It prefers exposure in full sun which guarantees its compact shape and characteristic colour. It does not require frequent watering, but during the dry season it benefits from regular watering. Not very rustic plant, it tolerates minimum temperatures reaching -0°/-2°C.
