Each pack includes approximately 24 seeds (2gr).
Shrub, or small deciduous tree, erect to spreading, up to 3 m tall. Compound leaves up to 15 cm long. The splendid and very long flowering with red-orange inflorescences is characteristic; which is followed by the production of characteristic legumes, which if moved by the wind recall the sound of maracas.
Pedoclimatic needs
It should be grown in loose or medium-textured soil and resists drought well. It prefers sunny positions but also adapts to partial shade. Sesbania Punicea can be bred outdoors in a Mediterranean climate and tolerates short frosts, withstanding minimum temperatures a few degrees below zero (-2°/-5°c); but if the cold temperatures drop it is advisable to repair it. In spring it can be grown outdoors without problems.Sowing
