Medium-sized deciduous tree up to 15-25 m tall, with globose foliage and rather sparse light green foliage. The leaves are composed of impapinnate with beautiful autumnal colours. The white flowers are gathered in inflorescences. The fruits, which resemble small pears, are not edible when harvested, but must over-ripen to become sweet.
Pedoclimatic needs
It adapts to any type of soil as long as it is not too dry. Rustic species, it tolerates temperatures reaching -20°/-22°C. It prefers sunny exposure.
