Yucca harrimaniae - Harriman's Yucca (Square pot 7x7x10 cm)

Herbaceous succulent without stem up to 60/70 cm tall. The light green linear leaves are rigid and have a pointed tip and often have curled filaments along the edges. The rosettes are compact, sometimes tufted and form small groups. The apical inflorescence is an erect raceme up to 1.5 m long with creamy white flowers sometimes with purple shades. This species is very similar to Yucca angustissima so much so that for some authors the two entities represent a single species.

Pedoclimatic needs

Grow in very sunny positions. It should be grown in loose substrates without water stagnation, preferably with a good limestone content. This Yucca is very rustic and resists temperatures up to -16/-18°C without being damaged. Very resistant to heat and drought, it is ideal for parks and gardens without water. Being a species with limited development, it is also well suited to cultivation in pots.
