Arboreal succulent up to 6-8 m tall, with erect and branched stem. Very similar to the Yucca difficile of which, according to some authors, this species is only a variety, it has leaves of the same glaucous color which however are not rigid but rather soft and curved and also with a pointed apex. The magnificent, compact and spherical rosettes have a beautiful blue-glaucous color. The dry leaves remain attached to the trunk for a long time and cover the trunks up to the base. The apical inflorescence is an erect raceme up to 1.5 m long with creamy white flowers.

Pedoclimatic needs

Grow in sunny positions. It should be grown in loose substrates without water stagnation, preferably with a good limestone content. This species is fairly rustic and resists temperatures down to -12/-14°C without causing damage. Very resistant to heat and drought, it is ideal for parks and gardens without water.
