Genus of a species of deciduous shrubs of the woodlands of China and Japan. Splendid medium-sized, fast-growing shrub that can reach 2.5 m in height. The stems are arched and little branched and form a rounded bush. The leaves are deciduous, small in size with serrated margins and dark green in colour. Flowering is very abundant, it occurs in spring and is made up of many golden yellow, multi-petalled flowers, similar to small roses.

Pedoclimatic needs

The plant requires rich, deep and above all well-drained soil. It prefers partial shade exposure in which it guarantees beautiful flowering and vigorous growth.
