Sorbus torminalis - Ciavardello (Seeds)
Medium-sized deciduous tree, up to 15-25 m tall, with a globose crown and rather sparse light green foliage. The leaves are compound, odd-pinnate, with beautiful autumnal hues. The white flowers are gathered in inflorescences. The fruits, which resemble small pears, are edible not at the time of harvest, but must over-ripen to become sweet.
Pedoclimatic requirements
It adapts to any type of soil as long as it is not too dry. Rustic species, it tolerates temperatures reaching -20°/-22°C. It prefers sunny exposure.
