Deciduous shrub that reaches 3 meters in height, with a thin, erect stem covered in thorns. The fruits are small, red and rich in essential oils. In China it has been used for centuries for its beneficial action against dental pain.
Pedoclimatic needs
It adapts to any type of soil as long as it is well drained. Rustic species, it tolerates temperatures reaching -10°/-12°C. It prefers exposure in full sun.
