Acacias are widespread in the tropical and warm temperate regions of Central and South America, Kenya, southern Africa, Polynesia and Australia. Acacia dealbata is an evergreen tree, 10-15 m tall with a spreading habit, with glaucous, bipinnate, fern-like leaves up to 12 cm long, each with 40-80 linear leaflets. From winter to spring it produces inflorescences consisting of spherical, very fragrant, golden yellow flower heads.

Pedoclimatic requirements
