Plant Description

Genus of about 150 species of deciduous or evergreen trees and shrubs of Europe, Africa and northern Asia and North and Central America. Acer ginnala is a small tree native to north-eastern Asia, up to 9 meters tall which can take on a bushy shape. The foliage takes on a globular and tidy appearance, the leaves are three-lobed with reddish veins and petiole, they have an intense green color which in autumn take on a beautiful reddish color from which it takes the

Botanical name of “fire maple”. Flowering occurs in April and is made up of small, very fragrant white flowers. The fruits are red samaras gathered in pendulous clusters.
