Altezza della pianta: 20-50cm

Rapidly growing deciduous shrub up to 3-4 m tall. It has a rounded shape made up of numerous branches. Entire opposite leaves, ovate-acuminate, dark green in color with serrated margins. In late spring it produces numerous white flowers up to 4-5 cm wide, intensely scented and very attractive to bees.

Pedoclimatic needs

It adapts to all types of soil, even calcareous as long as it is fresh and well drained. This cultivar is very rustic and tolerates cold and even intense and prolonged frosts down to -18°/-20°C. It prefers partially shaded positions but also adapts well to the sun. It does not tolerate drought for too long and during the summer it must be helped with regular watering. Ideal for use in parks and gardens in groups or alone or to create magnificent free hedges.
