Botanical Information

Botanical name of shoots. To develop, the plant requires supports, to which it anchors itself by means of spiral cirrus. The leaves are palmate with irregularly toothed margins. The bunches are made up of small to medium sized blue berries whose pulp has a sweet and rich flavour, with a strawberry scent. It is a plant anciently introduced from the United States to Europe, whose fruits are excellent to eat.

Pedoclimatic needs

The most favorable soils for growing vines are alluvial, volcanic, medium-textured and well-drained. It likes exposure in full sun. It is a fairly rustic plant, it tolerates minimum temperatures reaching -10°/-12°C. Very disease resistant.
